Read the passage and choose the correct answer in each of the following questions.
1. Dozens of young men dressed in traditional clothes are divided into two teams to compete in a game using a rope. These are common features of a popular folk game called kéo co (tug of war). The game is played in a unique way by local people in Ngoc Tri Village, Long Bien District, Hanoi.
2. Kéo co ngồi (sitting tug of war) usually takes place at Tran Vu Temple every year to express people's wishes for good health and bumper crops. The game includes two teams of competitors sitting on either end of a 50-metre rope. Every year, the number of players changes and is decided by the organisers. All of the competitors should be strong and have good reputation in the community. They have to sit during the entire game. If one competitor stands up, his team loses immediately.
3. The players say sitting tug of war is different from the normal version in which the stronger team can quickly defeat the weaker team. In sitting tug of war, the weaker team can win if they know the right way to hold the rope and control it.
